One of our licensed Audiologists will perform a comprehensive hearing evaluation. A comprehensive hearing evaluation is an important first step in determining the need for an appropriate hearing aid. A hearing evaluation must be completed within 6 months of purchasing a hearing aid.
The Food and Drug Administration requires that you have a medical evaluation by a licensed physician (preferably a physician who specializes in diseases of the ear) before purchasing a hearing aid. A medical evaluation is available with one of our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) physicians at Midwest ENT Specialists.
At the hearing aid evaluation, you and your hearing professional will determine which type of hearing aid is most appropriate for you and your unique needs. This includes choosing the style and type of technology needed.
